BabiesMart Warranty & Return Policy
At BabiesMart, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide our customers with the best possible experience. Below are our updated warranty and return policies for your reference.
1. Warranty Coverage
As per Australian Consumer Law, all products come with a minimum 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Additionally, some of our products include an extended 1-year warranty, which is stated on the product page.
What’s Covered?
✔ Manufacturing Defects – Protection against any structural or material defects.
✔ Faulty Parts – If a part becomes defective, we provide free replacement parts under warranty.
✔ Sudden Malfunctions – If the product stops functioning as intended under normal use, we will repair or replace it based on our assessment.
What’s Not Covered?
❌ Water Damage – Unless explicitly stated as water-resistant.
❌ Improper Use or Accidental Damage – Rough handling, improper assembly, excessive force, or external damage is not covered.
❌ Wear & Tear – General wear over time or cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
❌ Warranty Claims Do Not Qualify for Refunds – Warranty claims will only be resolved through repair or replacement, not refunds.
2. How to Make a Warranty Claim?
1️⃣ Contact Support – If you believe your product has a fault covered under warranty, reach out to us with photos/videos of the issue.
2️⃣ Inspection & Assessment – We may require you to return the product for evaluation. If the issue is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace it at no cost.
3️⃣ Exclusions & Denials – If the product does not meet the warranty terms, the claim may be denied, and return shipping costs will apply.
3. Code of Conduct
We believe in mutual respect. Please maintain a courteous tone when interacting with our team. Inappropriate behaviour or language may result in the rejection of your warranty claim and potential restrictions on future purchases.
4. Warranty Shipping Responsibility
Who Pays for Shipping?
🔹 If the claim is approved under warranty:
- For faulty parts: We will cover shipping costs for sending replacement parts.
- For full product replacements: We will cover the shipping cost to send a replacement if a product is deemed faulty under warranty.
🔹 If the claim requires an inspection:
- The customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us for assessment.
- If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, we will refund the return shipping cost or offer store credit for shipping expenses.
- If the claim is not approved (e.g., accidental damage, or improper use), the customer will bear the return and re-delivery shipping costs.
🔹 If the customer requests a return for change of mind or an issue outside of warranty:
- The customer must cover all return shipping costs.
