Who we are

BabiesMart started in 2021 as an online store for Australian parents who wanted safe, well-made nursery products without the guesswork. Today most of what we sell carries one of our own brands. That means we're not a reseller passing on someone else's product — we're the Australian importer responsible for it: how it's tested, how it's labelled, how it's supported after you buy.

We're based in Melbourne and dispatch from our own warehouse in Clayton South. When you contact us, you reach the people who chose the product and put it on the shelf.

Why we exist

You shouldn't have to pay a fortune for a product you can trust

Somewhere along the way, baby products split in two. On one side, premium brands charging premium prices. On the other, a flood of cheap imports — no local company behind them, no Australian testing, gone by the time the box is empty.

We built BabiesMart to be the third option. Products designed for Australian families, tested to Australian standards, backed by an Australian business you can actually reach — and priced so that safety isn't a luxury.

Independent testing to Australian standards

Our own-brand products are tested by independent laboratories to the Australian standards that apply to them. It's the difference between a product that's allowed to be sold here and one that's been proven to be.

Fair price, no middlemen

We design it, we import it, we sell it to you. No distributor, no wholesaler, no retail markup stacked on top. That's why a tested product from us costs what an untested one costs elsewhere.

Made to last, not to land in landfill

Steel, solid timber, quality fabrics, real thickness — chosen to survive a toddler, a second child and a move house. When you're done, it's still worth passing on.
